The Chinese Fine Arts Society project began with the design of a call for entries and poster announcing the upcoming Yueh Fei International Music Composition Competition. Yueh Fei is an iconic Chinese general whose legacy of filial piety and loyalty (the cornerstones of Confucian ethics) were cemented in time when, after a glorious military career, he sacrificed his life for the emperor rather than remain alive as a polarizing political figure.
