The Great Wall Competition invited composers from around the world to submit original compositions that celebrated the ancient architectural structure which had laid witness to thousands of years of Chinese history and culture.
The event identity used the Chinese characters for the Great Wall as monumental building blocks, lending structure and weight to its look and feel.
